Happy New Year !

  •   It is hard to believe that the first semester is almost at an end. Within the next few weeks, students will be taking benchmarks, exams or End of Course SOLs. Please maximize their potential for passing these assessments by ensuring that the students are well rested and have reviewed the study materials for the test.

 

  • The next Special Education Advisory Committeewill be held at CMS at 5:30 on January 23, 2011. All parents are encouraged to participate in this meeting. Take an active role in shaping the futire of the special education department.

 

  • Please check the Parent Resource website for a wealth of information concerning upcoming workshops,seminars and conferences.

 

  • According to the December One Count submitted 12/1/2011,the Caroline County Special Education Department  serves 648 students from ages 2-22.

 

  It is the vision of the Caroline Special Education Department that an educational climate will exist where all teachers accept and meet the challenge of enhancing the learning of students with disabilities by using data to drive instruction.
